What is Legate?

Legate is a Web3 intelligence swarm. Five autonomous agents research any token, chain, protocol, or narrative in parallel, then merge their findings into a single, source-stamped briefing.

Legate is a fast, honest starting point — not a substitute for due diligence. Every number is stamped with its source and timestamp, and gaps are disclosed rather than guessed.

The swarm at a glance

A research run is five sequential LLM calls. Each agent has one job and reads its own bundle of live data:

Commander
Reads your topic, classifies it, and writes focused queries for the other agents.
Scout
Information & narrative — news, announcements, contract-verification flags.
Analyst
Quantitative readout — price, TVL, liquidity, supply, yields, holder concentration.
Sentinel
Social pulse & sentiment — Twitter, Reddit, governance, macro overlay.
Synthesizer
Merges the three findings into one briefing with sections adapted to the topic, then appends a Data Freshness table.

Source-stamped, always

Every source that answers is stamped. The briefing closes with a Data Freshness table listing each source, the endpoint it called, when Legate sampled it, and whether the value was fetched live or served from cache. You always know where a number came from — see Reading a briefing.

What Legate does not claim

Not institutional-grade research. No buy/sell recommendations, no price predictions, no whale-tracking or vesting analysis. When a source is unavailable, Legate says so — it never fabricates a number.
